UV printing is a non-contact printing method in which an image is printed directly from a computer memory on a product surface. That process allows for photo quality prints. Then ink is cured with UV-light which makes it water, moisture and sun resistant.

When labelling gadgets with the UV print we make use of vector files or high quality bitmaps (resolution not less than 300 dpi) while keeping the original labelling size. Digital printers use the CMYK colour model so PANTONE, HKS, RGB and other colour systems are automatically changed into the CMYK palette. It may result in slight differences in colours which we are not able to control. While preparing files for UV print a 2 mm bleed needs to be added.

UV print advantages:

  • Full colour palette
  • Lower printing cost even with low volume production
  • Shortened production process
  • Custom print - wide array of possibilities in printing project
  • Durability and resistance to external factors
  • Print quality - printing adheres well to any surface - coated sheet metal, wood, plastics
